The Institute of Project Management has for the past nine years conducted an annual survey of project managers across five major geographic centres in Ireland.

NUI Galway’s JE Cairnes School of Business and Economics is organising a conference and gala dinner to mark the 40th anniversary of the first intake to its master of business administration (MBA) programme. The events celebrating this milestone will take place Friday January 25 in Galway and all MBA alumni, as well as past and current teaching faculty, are invited to attend.

A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is renowned worldwide as one of the most prestigious business/management qualifications available. “The MBA is a general management programme which enhances and develops business and management capabilities and prepares students for strategic leadership roles” says Dr Alma McCarthy, Programme Director at NUI Galway.

NUI Galway’s Executive MBA celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and a series of information evenings have been scheduled around the country for students wishing to join the programme in September 2012.

Students who enrol on the postgraduate diploma in management in Galway Business School can choose to progress to an MBA programme with one of its partner universities and complete the MBA within two years. This provides students with a cost effective route towards executive education.

Athlone IT will hold an information evening about its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme on Thursday May 12.
